FOUR QUESTIONS
Here are 4 questions that I have posed a
few people including our youth group...
1) Is God first in your life?
2) Do you want Him to be?
3) Are you rude to God?
4) When and why do you pray to Him?
Question 3 is a no brainer, or is it?
I used the example for the kids of having a friend spend the
night with them and all the next
day. How would your friend feel if you went most of the morning or even
longer and you did
not speak to them. Kind of rude don't you think? How about starting
your day with a simple
"Good morning God?" before you do anything else (as soon as you open
your eyes). How
often do we go to the bathroom, have our coffee, maybe check our email,
get the kids up,
or any number of other things before we actually acknowledge God? He is
there with us always
and yet we so often tend to our worldly needs and responsibilities
first. By doing this simple
thing we can start each and every day by putting God first as we
should.
I pray that this helps bring you closer to God.
May God bless you and may you be a blessing to many many others.
